OMG - Twitter Releases a New Feature With No Media Coverage!
I was very surprised to see that Twitter released a new feature the other day and there's been no significant media coverage of it!! (Not that this is a bad thing, mind you.)
Anyway, Twitter is working with other organizations and people to end malaria. A cool initiative all around. The other day I notice a tweet from a friend which had a little mosquito symbol:
It's also on Twitter's home page:
You can click on the symbol/icon and go to the end malaria website. I don't think I've seen this before - a hyperlinked single character?
Maybe I'm missing something, but this seems new, and exciting! What's next, a sarcasm font??
