Defamation By Tweet?

The first defamation lawsuit based on Tweets?  (It was bound to happen, and is noteworthy only because everything Twitter-related seems to be the apple of the media's eye.)  Details at E!online (pdf: link to the lawsuit) and the California Defamation Law Blog.  I won't repeat what the Twitterers are calling it, but here's a link.  Really, you'd think everything in their life starts with a "tw"?

On a loosely related note (only related because it's Twitter-related): the funnest Twitter-related item I've seen recently is this video by Lisa Nova [YouTube link].
