Perez Not Subject to Jurisdiction in OH for Posting Email
A reader of the popular website Perez Hilton (and a correspondent of his) filed suit against Perez Hilton (Mario Lavandeira).
Perez's offense? Posting an email (as the "email of the day") that the woman herself had sent to Perez. The court makes quick work of the case, and grants Perez's motion to dismiss on jurisdictional grounds. The court noted that Perez is not located in Ohio and had not directed any actions there. Nothing surprising about the result. I'm surprised the court didn't thrown in a jab about how ridiculous the claims were.
