1.  You mean my email address can influence how much spam I receive?  [(Guardian): "Does My Name Affect How Much Spam I get?"]  The answer in my case at least is, most definitely, yes.  Not only could your name affect the amount of spam you receive, if you're a politician it could affect your electability as well.  (See here, and 5., below.)
