Advice!: Use In-Person Interactions to Get More from LinkedIn

That's brilliant!  Just brilliant!  In-person interactions are more likely to be fruitful.  What a novel concept!!

Seriously, that's inane.  How about "get off LinkedIn, put your head down, do your work, and get ahead by developing a reputation for good work and diligence." 

LinkedIn is overrated and marginally useful at best.  I can't believe there's a sub-industry building around "how to get ahead on LinkedIn."  Markets for everything, I guess . . .
