Much food for thought. Most interesting to me was the divide between those who blog to attract clients and those who blog for other reasons. I look forward to the next gathering.

I'm mostly poking fun! I guess it plays on the theory that people often makes decisions based on looks. (Which is counter to any scientific rating system.)
I think it's a fun series of posts you guys do - and I think you explained what makes someone likely to be most viewed as well.
That said, is it safe to say most viewed does not jibe with Avvo's rating system . . . it's a separate fun, diversion on the blog?

So - theories on top viewed lawyers: They generally fall into one of the following categories:
-Britney Spears/K-Fed Divorce Lawyers. (Mark Kaplan, Laura Wasser, Sorrell Trope, Anne Kiley)
Prolific Participants in Avo Answers (Sharon Chirichillo, Elizabeth Powell, Lawrence Rogak)
Lawyers in the News (Mike Mukasey, Sean Cecil, Mark Britton)
And then, yes, you have the cuties (Briteney Mercer was the fifth most viewed lawyer in all of 2007).
Glad to hear you think it's a fun part of the blog, as I've considered not taking the time to run it every week.
