WA Driving While Texting Law Goes Into Effect


Metroblogging Seattle reminds everyone that Washington's driving while texting law goes into effect 1/1/08.

I can just see it now: the precedent-setting argument in court about whether emails, being messages consisting of text, are banned by a law against text messaging, or if the law was written so specifically as to refer to SMS only.
